The owners of Casa Amor Del Sol Bed & Breakfast are experienced innkeepers and restaurateurs who planned the house with guests' comfort and privacy in mind. The hacienda style casa was built and designed by well known Riviera Maya artist and architect Enrique Alcaraz. The massive brick arched windows with ocean views, and terra cotta tile are reminiscent of Old Mexico. It is perfectly located between Soliman Bay and Tankah Bay, near Tulum.
The two suites - Kahlo and Rivera, are named after famed Mexican artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. Prints of their works and photos of the artists fill the suites, along with collections of Mexican art the owners have gathered from their visits throughout Mexico - including Otomi textiles from Puebla, hand loomed rugs from Oaxaca, colorful embroidery from Chiapas, and hand carved masks from Micoacan. The art and rich colors in the room reflect the true spirit of Mexico. A huge brick arch over the king size beds frame a hand crafted marble mosaic of a sunrise.
Each suite includes an ocean view sitting area, and a shared front balcony that overlooks the Caribbean ocean. The king size beds have pillow top mattresses and fine Egyptian linens. The suites are air conditioned, and have ceiling fans, and of course fantastic Caribbean ocean breezes.

The jungle side terraces are large and very private, with a wraparound view of the Caribbean ocean. Loungers, tables and chairs, a bar with refrigerator, blender, and glassware add to the comfort and convenience of each suite. It is a short drive to Tulum. In Tulum, you can find all the necessary ingredients for your favorite tropical drink or snack. The terraces put you in the treetops of the beautiful and dense Mayan jungle, with the pool nestled below.
Downstairs, the colorful portal overlooks the pool and waterfall. Here you will be served a gourmet breakfast each morning. We provide a filtered cold water dispenser for your use. Poolside loungers offer the perfect place to relax in the sun or shade.
The rooftop terrace overlooks the beautiful Caribbean and the magnificent Mayan jungle. Bird watching is fantastic, and there is a view of both Soliman Bay and Tankah Bay. You can even see the Tulum ruins with binoculars. The sun beds are great for getting your Mexican tan, and the covered rooftop Jacuzzi is kept cool during the day, and warms up at night. The roof at night is incredibly romantic, and with the glow of soft luminaries, it is the perfect place for stargazing or viewing the moon over the Caribbean ocean while listening to the surf.
