Casa Amor Del Sol

"... Casa Amor Del Sol, about a 12 minute drive to Tulum beach. The location was perfect - between Akumal and Tulum. Our room was beautiful! Wonderful ocean view and lovely Mexican art. The air conditioning was very good, but most nights we did not need it because of the ocean breezes. The room included a refrigerator, flat sceen tv with free movies, Bose CD player and lots of CDs, an ocean view balcony, and a big, private terrace. Most days we would go to Tulum Beach, and come back and refresh ourselves in the very clean pool that was set in the jungle. We usually went to Tulum for dinner. Tulum is a nice little typical Mexican town with many restaurants. After dinner, we would come back and spend time on the rooftop looking at the stars and relaxing in the Jacuzzi. The view from the roof was incredible..."

Best experience ever in the Riviera Maya!

Riviera Maya Bed n Breakfast
  • Guests Suzanne and Chuck had a memorable experience last week, as they walked the beach at 11pm. Under the light of a full moon, they witnessed 2 turtles nesting and laying eggs. In the morning, they went to the beach to see that 3 nestings had occurred the night before. We will look forward to the turtle hatching in approximately 60 days. the beach is peppered with many turtle nests, most of them marked and dated. We are happy that the beach in front continues to be a favorite spot for the endangered turtles to come ashore to nest.
  • Amazing star gazing last night, as we watched the perseid meteor shower from the rooftop. Hundreds of meteors blazed across the sky in the dark sky. The cool ocean breeze made it a spectacular night.
  • We are happy to say that 24/7 security is now watching over Tankah Tres and Paraiso Tankah. This adds additional peace of mind for our guests in our tropical paradise here in Tankah.
  • A new mini super market has just opened at Casa Cenote. The market carries food staples, soda, snacks, and toiletry items, and is within walking distance to Casa Amor Del Sol.
  • We picked our first lime today from one of the trees we planted last year. Maybe I'll pick some mint and mix up some mojitos tonight! That will taste great while cooling off in the pool.
  • Six new turtle nests on the beach this morning. Amazing! The beach is now peppered with over 100 endangered turtle nests. Beautiful sunrise this morning, too!
  • It's not too late to make your reservation at Casa Amor Del Sol, to view the Autumnal Equinox display at Chichen Itza. Chichen Itza is a 2 hour drive from Casa Amor Del Sol, nad there are many interesting Maya villages you pass through during the drive.
  • Over 100 turtles hatched on the beach last night. What an amazing sight as they made their way across the sand to their new home in the beautiful Caribbean!
  • Full moon last night. Big and beautiful from the rooftop! The trade winds were wonderful too! What a night!
  • Our guests from Belgium had an amazing tour of of the Sian Ka'an arranged through the Sian Ka'an Visitor's Center. They really enjoyed the manatees.
  • Honeymoon guests had wonderful Swedish massages on the rooftop at sunset the other night. The ocean breezes made it perfect.
